killer B or gray ghost headphone

grif

New member
Thinking about buying a pair of gray ghost headphone, my buddy got a pair of the killer b headset lastweek and he dosen't like them. which one would be the better pair for my mxt pro?

mine worked great. and with the NDT set you get an extra connecting cable. thus NO DOWN TIME.

HH

I actually have the grey ghost it goes from low to bam high volume with adjustment no in between,,which semms to be the complaint of users of them..I got mine with a detector I had bought. They are ok ,but find that i use my cheaper whites phones more because it has that mid volume range .I would love to try killer b's heard some good stuff about them.

Had the standard issue with the DFX 300,bought the grey ghost, the upgrade was a good move, just ordered the new whites pro star,so i'll see if they give me any advantage over greyghost. I have two dfx 300's ,one for my wife when she can go,so having the new pro star on one and the greyghost on the other , i'll be able to compare the pros and cons of each.i usually bring them both on my hunts, with different coils to maximize my hunts, but again the grey ghost is what i'm using and like what has been said they do have good volume on targets. Good luck

Killer B's the er cups don't get hard like the GG and the sound is just as good if not better. Had them both.

Both are good headphones. You might want to try the Sunray pro gold headphones.
