Just got a set new from Windy City Detectors and used them the first time today with my AT Pro and they seem to be Scratchy sounding not a clear crisp tone all the time I read about them having a Limiter so I am thinking is this to muffle the tone a tad if the target is close to the surface? I can run the coil across the surface and here faint tones but then when a target is within two inches of the surface it bangs scratchy kinda tone not a clear crisp tone that my Small Garrett Ultra sounds have. Now with that being said On Banditio II the sound is more crisp as well as on my Compadre I guess what I am asking is anyone else use the killer b's on the ATP if so , is tone Quality an issue with you?
No issues with Killer Bs on my AT. Much better than stock. Im running the GG amphibains now and Dont like them as much as I did the Bs. They sound fine but I get alot of wind noise and they are not as comfy as my Killer bs.
