Kids Aluminum Cup / Need Help to ID Logo

New member
I went back to the park and found a beat up kids aluminum tea cup. It has some type of logo with an Art Deco design around it. Leads me to believe it is from the 1930's. Anybody know who this is. I posted it on another forum and the thought is maybe Campbell's soup kids, radio show give-a-way or something like that. I found 25 coins for $2.22.

That was one of my thoughts.

Looks pretty much like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow man in Ghost Busters II but I'm not betting on it.

That is a Buster Brown cup, for all you old fellas like me, Buster Brown was a popular shoe company back in the 60's and before. That was the shoe my Mother always bought me. Very Nice Find. HH...Jesse.

Looks pretty close but the hat isn't quite right. Looked all over the net and couldn't find anything to do with the tea cup. Hard to say......

Buster Brown shoes debuted in 1904, based on the comics character of Buster Brown and his dog Tige. I think the brand is still going. You may have a collectors item there bud.

Go to Google and type in Buster Brown Shoes. I wore them puppies when I was a kid. That was back in the days when they X-Rayed your feet for a perfect fit.

I live in a real small town and the local shoe shop had and sometimes used a floroscope long after they were deemed unsafe. Today you need to go to school for years to operate an X-Ray machine back then anybody could get one. Funny.
