Keys & Matchbox cars are not rare. I can see a child loosing a toy, but all the keys- man I don't know ? Car, house, Masterlock types and who knows. Many of the ones I find are not even on a key ring. Who goes around with a loose key in their pocket? Once I found an old fashion one with " Key to the City " on it. I carried that one around for awhile. I just found one for my buddies riding mower last week. I met a guy on vacation that said he would be interested in toy cars in any condition. Since then I've come across a dozen. I lose my keys about once a week but always somewhere in my house. Once I was looking for them while they were in my pocket. The cost of replacing all the keys must be something plus the hassle of lost car keys. My brother just found a large key ring with about 20 keys. Been lost for awhile, found it in a rabbit hunting area. Man -getting back to your truck after a long hunt & finding you lost your keys. That got to be one migraine. You guys got any tales ?

Don't have any real funny tales about keys but I did find one yesterday in a tot lot , looks like a door key . Can just a imagine some young kid getting home after school and not being able to get in while there parents are at work ... I do find keys pretty often but usely there not as fresh as todays was .

I have frond lots of keys, and every time i find some i think, how did this person get home, and after they got home, how the %6&& do they get in. I have never lost my keys, but have locked them in the car and it was running. I though HOW MUCH GAS DID I HAVE. That is bad but to loose them all at one time. I hope i never do. Good luck hunting. Seems like a lot of keys get lost. when I find a key that appears to be a recent drop of a house or car key, I leave them in an obvious spot in the area. A year or so I found a key ring with about 15 keys on it. There were 5 keys that were numbered as if they might have been locker keys, door keys, car keys and one marked "Case:", as in J I Case tractors. I felt bad for whoever lost them, but they had been there for a long time already. Happy hunting everyone!
