Keys and Bullets

These came up in city parks during the last month of the year, along with some Wheat cents and the usual zincs and clads.

I always think that a key has a story behind it, when the person needed the key, reached into his pocket, and it wasn't there anymore.

Question ... Why would a guy carry a loose key, instead of on a key ring?

Also, who's firing a pistol in a small city park surrounded on four sides by people's homes?

The bullets could have been fired before it was a park or before the houses
were built.
