KELLYCO TOOK DOWN THE 10X12 COIL OFF OF THE SOCIAL PAGE

There are other places you can find it on Kellyco (the Sovereign version), but it's hidden and hard to find. Best way is to Google "Kellyco, 12x10, Sovereign" and you should be able to find a few Kellyco links directly to it that way. At least I was able to do that a few months back. I would be surprised if the don't carry the Sovereign version anymore because there are a lot of Sovereigns out there of various models, not to mention Xcals. But, if Kellyco does stop carrying the Sovereign model that does not mean the Detech stopped making it Detech makes quite a few coils for machines that Kellyco doesn't carry. So, if anything, you can either get one from Fleabay new (or even used of course), as I think Detech and a few other places over seas sell it new on Fleabay. I also think Detech has their own website where they sell all their coils? Also, Joann Detectors in the UK carries it. They are the UK version of Kellyco pretty much. I wouldn't panic though, I doubt Kellyco stopped carrying the Sovereign version. I don't see really any more talk on other detector forums about these SEF coils then I do here (and not just from me), except for maybe in the Etrac and Explorer forum, but there are more active members who post in those forums then here so that's to be expected. I've said it before but I'll say it again...I think the kind of people who are attracted to the Sovereign tend to be less "flashy" and don't speak up much, because the Sovereign is a low key "unflashy" kind of machine...But, some of us know that it's not what the paint job looks like, it's what's under the hood.

I just tried googling those key words "12x10, sovereign, kellyco" and can't find any links on Kellyco that show the Sovereign version. And, I just did a search on kellyco for "12x10 sovereign" and those links have nothing either. Maybe they aren't going to carry the Sovereign version anymore, but again that doesn't mean Detech isn't making it. Check FleaBay or Joann Detectors in the UK, but first I'd wait to hear from JW. I'm going to shoot him a PM and see if Kellyco isn't carrying the Sovereign version anymore, as well as ask him if they still plan to carry the 13" Ultimate Sovereign version, because a month or so back he said they were going to carry the Sovereign version of that coil...but did say they'd have it by mid-May.
Just googled 13" Ultimate, Sovereign and I see the guy still sells that new on Fleabay. Oh, and by the looks of it the Sovereign version might be black instead of white? But I don't think he ships to the US anymore (heard he did early on), but I bet he would if you asked him to.
Come on now. If Kellyco carries the Ace 250 version of these coils (even the 13" Ultimate for it!) then WHY wouldn't they want to carry the Sovereign version of both coils? The Sovereign has been made for, what...20 years now? Got to be a ton of Sovereigns out there. I know the 12x10 has my GT getting the depth and unmasking just as well as my friend's flagship machine when we compare signals. It's like putting a turbo charger on your Sovereign. I'm just glad I've got mine already if Kellyco isn't going to carry anymore.
You can also put a Want To Buy add here on FIndmall, as that's how I got my GT, 15x12, 12x10, and my S-5. Often by doing that you also get better deals, as some people don't want to post a for sale add, but will PM you about getting rid of something when they see you are a ready buyer. Just click on their name and check out their posting history. If they've been posting on here for years then chances are they can be trusted. In particular, see if they've sold any stuff on Findmall before and see if any feedback is posted in those for sale ads they posted. That's how I knew I could trust the people I bought from, and how they knew they could trust me.

I sent JW a PM about both coils. We'll see what he says. Got to figure there are TONS more Sovereigns and Xcals out there then Ace 250s, and even a few other machines they carry both coils for. So I'd be shocked if Kellyco would not carry both these coils for the Sovereign/Xcal. I gave JW the pitch about that so maybe it will motivate them to carry them if they don't plan to anymore. I'll let you guys know what he says.

But then again, somebody just said Kellyco told them their 12x10 for the Sovereign was on back order. I know Detech is having trouble keeping up with supply on many coils and is back logged for various machines. Maybe Kellyco removed the 12x10 and 15x12 until they catch up on their back orders for the Sovereign? And in the mean time want to remove them from listing so people will buy and clean out the 18x15 stock?

Well, despite my PM to JW at Kellyco several weeks back I have yet to hear any word on the status of the Sovereign 12x10 or even the 13" Ultimate Sovereign version of that coil in terms of it they are still carrying the 12x10, and whether they plan to carry the Ultimate for the Sovereign like he originaly said they would several months back.
Not looking good I think. Maybe they are phasing out the Sovereign line of stuff at Kellyco? I know that the coil combo/Sovereign package they sell has the words under it of "get one while they last", or something like that. While what lasts? The 18x15 as the extra coil in that package, or the Sovereign in general?
Minelab has been making the Sovereign for years, so I would assume there are much more Sovereigns out there (all of which are coil compatible) than other machines such as the M6/MXT or the Ace 250, yet they carry the Ultimate and 12x10 for those machines, as well as for some other machines that I highly doubt have as many units out there as the Sovereign does. Not to mention all the Excals which are also coil compatible to the Sovereign.

Not phasing it out, we just do not have the SEF for the Sovereign in stock and I took it off of the sale page so not to sell it. We have them on order so we will be getting them back in stock.

GREAT NEWS! Thanks for letting us all know that, as the 12x10 I feel is the best coil, concentric or DD, that I've ever used on any machine. Really glad to hear that. JW said a while back that the Ultimate 13" coil Sovereign version might be coming in May. Do you have any word one way or the other on that coil yet for the Sovereign, as I'm reading some really good reports on it in the FBS forums and a few Sovereign guys in this forum who got their hands on one from over seas seem to love it. I doubt it separates as well as the 12x10, but it might be as deep if not deeper than it by the sound of it, and it also appears to have some unique ability to see coins in iron not seen on other conventional round DD coils from what I've been reading.

Great news! MetDetDevl just PMed me that the Sovereign version of the 13" Ultimate is also on order and waiting for the backlog to clear and be delivered!
