Kellyco Repair turnaround time?

I know they have their hands full being the North American repair center... I sent my Xterra in over a month ago and the silence has been deafening. I finally sent an email got a reply that basically said we have it but it hasn't made it to the bench yet.

My question is has anyone else used them and how long did it take to get your detector serviced?

Thanks Doug. Kinda what I expected... Hopefully it will come back soon.

That is ridiculous. That is too long to have anything not worked on.

I know things went bad there when one of the lead technicians passed away a year or so ago, but I thought the backup was in the water detectors. A few years ago I sent my 705 in to Kco ( Central Florida ) and got it back in less than two weeks, my Xcal was back in a month when I sent it in 3 years ago. The 705 was under warranty the Xcal was not. I know they put warranty work first. If you are under warranty, I would be putting the pressure on them....fix it or give me a new one. GL

After making noise here and on the Etrac forum, I was contacted by Jamie from Minelab Americas who read my posts and wanted some details.

48 hours later, my Xterra is fixed and shipped. Thanks Jamie from Minelab!
