We've got a few Refurbished Garrett AT Pro's available...call 4076998700 ext 102 for more info!

Hey Chris,
Just wondering if there are still some referbished AT Pros available... And/or if there are any other referbished detectors available. I am really wanting to do some underwater detecting and have not fully decided which way to go. The Excal II sounds like a good machine... But just based on price is it twice as good as the AT Pro? I was also considering the White's Beachhunter... 300 or non-300 with the smaller coil.

I live in the Seattle area and plan to do some river and freshwater lakes, as well as, some saltwater Puget Sound hunting. I will probably not hunt deeper than 10' of water.

What do you think? I am doing very well with my White's M6 in parks and schools... And have found that I have benefited from the use of the screen to help me decide which targets to dig.

Thank you!
Dreamurs

Hey Chris,
I tried to send you a PM last week but it didn't go through. Anyway, I was able to pick up an Excal II and have had it out to the lake about three times. While it does have a learning curve to it... I was super excited to find a men's ring on Sunday, with it! It is much better after moving the electronics to a hip mount, since it's a heavy machine for a long hunt! Anyway, I was looking at someones post regarding Kellyco working on these machines. Do you know if the Kellyco people can do the Excal modification that adds the pinpoint switch to the handle of a straight shaft? I see some instructions on how to do this on line... but I am chicken... This detector is not under warranty, so no worries there re: voiding a warranty by adding extra stuff.

Thanks,
Dreamurs (Mary)
