kellyco new vulcan pinpointer on sale with free shipping

I just saw where kellyco has their new vulcan 360 pinpointer marked from $179.00 to $119.00 with free shipping in case someone needs a new pinpointer like me (ordered it). I wanted the new whites but it seems like they're is gonna be a waiting list. And i'm tired of my "mind of it's on" pro-pointer and i don't like the other ones i have.:)

I just recently received a new Vulcan pin pointer with my new detector. Love it. It has 5 settings for sensitivity and its own holster. I have never had one before so I cannot compare but I now realize what I had been missing

yowow, I see you have had many different pinpointers so you have experience with them. Please let us know how the Kellyco performs. I currently have two Garretts and the oldest one is over two years old with hard use. It still performs like new so in my mind a Propointer is hard to beat.

Hi RLOH,
i will comment on the pro-pointers at this time = They excessively beep for no reason, both started doing that very shortly after i started using them (bought new),, They are horrible at sounding off at very little pressure applied,. I do not abuse my equipment,,, because since i was very young i learned i had to work for things i wanted, nothing more needs to be said about that.. The propointers haven't worked for me.

I have a whites bullseye II = I can't complain about how it performs, i can only say i just didn't like it. Too small and awkward for the main thing. As a matter of fact i loaned it to a friend and don't care if i ever get it back.

I have a detectorpro pistol probe Which "by the way" another forum member is purchasing from me. Nothing against it's performance. it worked as it supposed to. I just decided the pulse pinpointer wasn't for me.

I have a sunray DX1 on my VX3 and i love it. But as you know sunrays are brand or type brand specific.... I would buy a sunray for my F-70 but i'm not sure at this time i'm gonna keep the F-70.

At last... When i get the Kellyco Vulcan 360 pinpointer i'll tell you with all honesty how it works for me.

One other thing i'm gonna buy the Nokta RS pinponter, i'll tell you about it also with all honesty if you're interested.

Same story here, my Pro-pointer falses a lot especially in hot weather when its exposed to the sun. Could be all that electronics in that small package gets overheated.

I also have the MineLab pointer which is noticeably much better at not falsing, but is does occasionally false.
Its just a little shy of the Pro-pointer's depth not enough to make a big difference.
One other trouble nuisance with my MineLab pointer is when you set it at a low sensitivity then power it off, the dam thing will remember that low sensitivity setting the next time its powered on. That bit me more than a couple times.
The thing should always power on at the highest sensitivity IMO. I cannot understand MineLab's reasoning to design it that way.

yowow, looking forward to seeing your thoughts on the Vulcan. The low battery indicator and auto shut off are two useful features that the Pro Pointer doesn't have. Since it's Kellyco's own unit, my guess is it's made in China which would be a build-quality negative to me.

I've been using Pro-Pointers since 2008 and one thing I learned with my first unit is that you can't push it into the dirt. It's OK to touch the dirt, but pushing down harder into the dirt trying to pick up a signal will over time distort the wiring and cause the excessive beeping you talk about.

The good thing is the Pro-Pointers have a 2 year warranty so if one goes squirrelly or the performance degrades as they are prone to do before two years is up, Garrett will replace it or repair it good as new. They've done it for me several times. Garrett's service department is top notch.

Hi Marcomo, i will post my thoughts on the vulcan pinpointer but it'll be after i have used it enough to fairly evaluate it. I was kinda hoping the vulcan was made somewhere but china, because there are some countries that make quality detecting products,

On the propointers, Can't beat garrett customer service as they replaced them once without a word, didn't know they would replace a second time. For some reason i thought the replaced warranty part was only warranted for 60 days?? Maybe i'll give them a call, can't hurt. GL HH

yowow, I believe it's been three PPs I've sent in to Garrett for repair, possibly four. I've never sent the replacement units in for repair, I just sell them as heavily used units when performance degrades. They used to just send a new PP now it appears that they repair them.

Is this a PI pin pointer ??

no, not a PI

Check Out Whites new TRX pin-pointer...I'm afraid it beats Garrett's Pro pointer
Up 4 inches deep straight out of the box.ice. Beats Mine-Lab as well. I know we get
used to our equipment and and we want to remain loyal but if there is a pin-pointer
out there that might do a better job then we owe it to ourselves to take a look,
in my opinion.
