Kellyco Helped with AT Pro Problem

corvus

New member
I posted earlier my AT Pro would not hold custom settings when shut off. Also seemed a little unstable. I bought it from Kellyco, but had it about a month so called Garrett and got a return label, but then decided to seek help from Kellyco through forum member "kellycochick" (Jamie). I could not be more pleased with the results. After exchanging several emails, she advised a new AT Pro was on the way together with a UPS label to return the old one. I got it in a couple of days and so far, all is well. My old unit was S/N series 511. The new one is series 512 and so far works flawlessly. There is a little more to the story about Kellyco. I first sought advice on buying a second unit as a backup if the AT Pro was going to be as troublesome as I was reading. It would have been easy to sell me something else and tell me to send my unit to Garrett, but that wasn't what happened. The backup unit was never mentioned - just a quick replacement to get me going again with no additional cost to me. I'm hoping this also means they believe that Garrett has made the necessary corrections to the product. Anyway, Kellyco has made a believer out of me, and I'm very appreciative of Jamie's help.

My ATP did the exact same thing. I sent it back to Garrett. Works fine after repair. I still have a 511 serial number.

Yeah, I have purchased 5 machines from Kellyco, and 2 coils. Nothing but good things to say about that company!

While we are a business and of course love to make a sale, in this case there was NO way I was going to tell him to buy another At Pro because it would take awhile to fix the one he had at Garrett. The first one didn't work right. He gets a new one. Period. Soon everyone will see that Kellyco isn't a greedy company. We have true caring for our members but because we are so big there ARE times where one of the staff has misinformation or just doesn't "Get it". When we see this we re=train that staff member so in the future the person with the problem gets proper resolution. It's like I said to Corvus-We treat each customer like we would want to be treated. Period. I'm glad you are happy my friend!!! Now post some cool stuff you find :)

I bought my Ace 250, GTI2500 and Garrett ProPointer from Kellyco. I happened on a deal elsewhere for my ATPro, otherwise it would have come from Kellyco. I have referred many people to Kellyco, and every person who bought from them were as pleased with the service as with the detector. Obviously, I always recommended a Garrett product, and always praise Kellyco's friendly helpfulness. Though they sell many different brands of detectors, their quality of customer service rivals that of Garrett, which is par excellence! Thanks, Kellyco (and Garrett!) HH. Jugg

I can tell you this...I'm a HUGE fan of Garrett's service. They stand behind what they build and sell and we always know we can go to them with anything and they will bend over backwards to fix it. I LOVE that! And you KNOW Kellyco will too.

I want everyone to know that as you view Kellyco as a company and you see something that you think we need to improve on, send me a PM! That's how the free shipping for Active Service men/women came about! We DO listen!! Some things go so far back that we can't change them but if we could sit for a few hours I'd explain why!!

I just bought my Ace 350 from KellyCo along with some other stuff....and love it. Now I'm considering on stepping up and getting the AT Pro too...I like what I hear about them! KellyCo was a great experience. Although they may want to think about getting Sun Ray probes there....i had to go somewhere else to get that, and I'd much rather deal with KellyCo.

Jamie - Nothing against the two previous "Kellyco Chicks" over the last couple years who both seemed like nice people. But your proactive attitude and honesty (see the quote above) is a step above what I've seen before from Kellyco.

Having you on this forum as an advocate/trouble shooter for forum customers is a huge plus and should help you get new business from forum members who may have been leery in the past to buy from Kellyco because of previous well-documented issues which often seemed to be directly related to miscommunications of the type that can happen with larger companies.

Hopefully now that you are the "Kellyco Chick" you will provide some continuity to the position by staying on for a while.

Keep up the great work!
