Keith Wills no longer tuning CZ's

I called East Texas today and the lady I spoke with said she was pretty sure that Keith decided not to service/tune CZ's any longer. I left a message for him, and we'll see what happens.

On a side note I noticed that a thread on this forum from a month or so ago regarding tuning the CZ series machines has vaporized

That really sucks! Another guy out there you can try is rebel metal detectors in maryland I beleive. He use to calibrate analog czs but I don't think he does digital. I think he has a web site just google rebel metal detectors. He really knows czs. I think he use to do waranty repairs for the late great original fisher.

He moved from Maryland to Charleston, SC area. Still worked on them a year or so ago, but have not heard since then. Presume he still does.

Um, thats interesting. I called Keith about 6 weeks ago and told him I wasnt gettin the depth I should on my CZ 70 Pro. He said he could calibreate it and that he specialized in the CZ's and did better work on them than the new Fisher. I should have it back by the end of the month.

I guess they think that now they can get more work, if I have any other trouble with my CZ-70 I will just put it in the closet until such time as I can find another person to repair it, after all its my choice who repairs my CZ. I have a f-70 but now I will never buy another new fisher product. Keith Wills thanks for the wonderful repair you done on my CZ-70 HH :detecting:

Called East Texas also. Lady stated they're no longer repairing the CZ-20 (CZ-21?), but are repairing the other CZ models.

FALSE ALARM :stretcher:

Keith called me this morning and said to send my CZ70 in for a tune-up

I would make sure that you speak with Keith, the lady on the phone is just an operator, she doesn't know anything about detectors (that's what she told me).

Only bad thing is their backlog is 2-3 months long :goodnight:

I wouldn't mind sending it to FRL for a tune-up, but I doubt their going to tune it to my Sun FZ12 coil, but Keith can

Your going to love the CZ for your mineralization Monte, my CZ6A is my west coast, all weather beach/park machine. It's just like oatmeal...it's the right thing to do!
I run in autotune and with a flick of your thumb, put it in zero disc but with tones. Perfect for those that love using there ears with an analog detector. Dig all on the black sand beaches and you'll get the gold.
The depth on this machine is one of the best too.
