Since a lot of you guys were asking about these anyone interested in these for the X Terra let me know. It replaces the lower stand and uses the same screw. I have some to sell.

How much weight does that, (Harris?) bipod add?

I wonder the same, but if its around 8 oz. then I'm golden. I noticed that if you add about 8 oz. to the back end of this detector it swings a whole lot better with the stock coil and the 10.5" DD coils.

I agree. I have a couple of those bipods around but they are the ,"longer version"and certaintly weigh more than 8ozs. They are also expensive, ($40-$70). However, this appears to be a very good idea and sometimes you can find these bipods at yard sales at very good prices.

and I'm sure it works well but, looks like to much hassle to use. I just heated up the stand fins with a heat gun and bent them out about 1" on each side, worked very well for me. You won't get rich from that idea but I will give you fame in the form of ingenuity, nice job! HH, Mike
