oldranger

New member
Since Im determined to get out more this year
Ill need warm batteries

The ACE is easy .. the batteries and control
housing are in the same place ...

The GTI isint... Whats more important to
keep warm betteries or control housing?

I was thinking of just clipping the battery
compartment ot my belt but that seems awkward

Suggestions as usual gratefully accpeted

Thanks

Go with the lithium batteries for cold weather. There is nothing out that will work better or last longer in the cold. You should not need to keep them warm.

I agree with Jason, lithium, lipo's 5 years ago I bought 16 lipos batteries and a charger on big E that charges 8 at a time, use them in everything, camera flash, detector, radio control airplane, have ran them down many time and recharged, have save a lot of money on batteries and trips to the store, Nothing tee's me off more than having to stop and go to the store for batteries :ranting:

You can switch over to lithium batteries, which work great in -20 or try the following:
