Today after church I made a little trip down to Rheatown to do a little hunting with my buddy Mike. We only hunted for about 3 hours but decided to hit an area that we've hunted pretty hard. On 2 prior hunts there we each dug a fuse, both which had be exploded. I had a feeling today that I would get another one, do y'all ever get those feelings that you know something goods gonna happen, I wasn't let down. Every target I dug today was either against a tree root or right against or under some fallen logs, I ended up with a few bullets and my second percussion fuse from that little hilltop. Not a whole bunch but did add to my relic collection a bit.

The confederates running, this turned into a stampede in which they pulled back to another town. The fuses that we found were percussion fuses. That means that they exploded on inpact. The also had timed fuses that would go off at a certain amount of time after fired. Hope this helps.
