I just returned from my 4th trip to Long Beach MS, helping with the Katrina Relief Effort. I hesitated to take my metal detector for fear of offending someone, however every home owner we helped was more than glad to let me search their property. I found a lot of coins, haven't counted them yet.
The people of Mississippi are the most gracious people I have ever met
and I would move there in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the hurricanes and those d_ _ _ gnats. I was told they are miniature alligators with wings.
If anyone from Mississippi reads this, please respond I would like to meet you.

Been to Mississippi and my wife worked there long before we met. Lovely state and lovely people but wouldn't live there on a bet. Hope you found some goodies.
