Kaboom! We are on the generator right now...........

Nasty big wind storm just hit us, gusts of 70 mph, a branch fell on the line next to the transformer and blew that sucker!
No idea how long before a repair is done and i have only a couple gallons of gas for the generator because i just drained it a couple days back figuring winter was over:shrug:
Someday i'm gonna catch Murphy in the act and........:rage::biggrin:

Hope you've got enough to get you thru til' you can replenish. Guessing that it's not a good idea to run out to get more in 70mph winds. Stay safe Wayne.....and tell Carol I sent her a big hug too.

We all need one of these:thumbup: might tick off our wives and even more so those silly little teenage girls instantly turning their heads to the sound and seeing an ol' fart laughing at them:rofl:

Take me back to the 60's

you need to get one of the items i mentioned above cause i know your humor is as twisted as mine and Fred's!
Thanks bud:thumbup:

I bet they sell everyone they get their hands on, especially during Christmas. Did you buy one? Kelley (Texas)

I've got me a missus that thinks a centimeter is an inch. You do the math....lol

There is one part where a motorcycle or V8 reverberates real loud, sometimes as a fool I turn that part to high volume while driving the Mustang, anyone who knows that record knows what I mean. oj

I feel for you buddy.. Hope that they get you up and running as soon as possible. No wind here yet.... but it will come in about 7-10 hours from now.

Calm seas

With all the stuff here that requires fuel, we have about 6 siphon hoses scattered about here as we are always moving fuel around.... Hopefully, they will get it back on quickly. The power companys down in Fairfield, wealthy area, didn't have the crews to repair them so its going real slow there. Been 5 days now and many still with out power.... I think it may be a Power company lesson, saying if you had given us our request increase we would not have laid off the repair crews... Who knows....

they decided to save a few bucks and layed off all customer service people, now one automated central help line for the whole damn Province that doesn't work! Took 9 calls just to report the outage :ranting:
We are ok but if they don't get it fixed soon i will have to put together a long double male ended cord to run to the wellhouse because i can't isolate that circuit from the water heater and it kicks the breaker, jennie too small @ 2500 watts. I have been alternating between the fridge and coffee pot this morning. Of course i am as dumb as a left handed hammer handle when it comes to electrical

then plug them back in when ya need it or are the both on the same line? Only other way I can thing is unhook the heater elements.
