Hello All,

I need help ID'ing this thing. Found it where I found the Model T hubcap. Not sure if it is car related. I looked on Google and found some stuff on gas or oil cans, nothing like this. It has JUSTRITE on the front with "PAT APPLIED FOR" below it. Nothing else on the back or inside that I can see. It is silver in color and will not stick to a magnet. The right side of the top is just a little longer then the bottom which you can see from the side view. The left sides are the same length.
I have already ID'ed the 5 cent piece.
Thanks for looking,
Bunker

My wife ID it, it's a tatting shuttle. Tatting with a shuttle is the earliest method of creating tatted lace. A tatting shuttle facilitates tatting by holding a length of wound thread and guiding it through loops to make the requisite knots.

I never would have guessed that!!! Especially where I found it. It makes sense now. Thank your wife for me.
