Justifying a larger coil

Planedoc

New member
I recently acquired an AT PRO from Kelleyco. I have yet to use it due to scheduling! I am curious as to how much of an advantage a larger coil will have. The standard coil is 8 1/2 X 11 and the only available larger coil is 9 X 12. Can another 1/2 X 1 increase in size really make a difference? Is there much difference between a double D and a concentric coil?

Sorry if this is a redundant post!!

I personally found no real advantage in the 9x12...It is heavy, harder to Pin Point with, and just something else to carry around...The Only coils you REALLY need are the stock, 5x8 DD, and 4.5 sniper...
This is just my personal oppinionl..Your ground conditions and hunting style may warrant a larger coil...
