Hey i have the 5 in. coil been thinking bout getting the 5x10 coil.I have been reading how great it is. I have the 11 dd coil to. my guestion is after using the new coil. does anyone use the 5 in. coil anymore. Also where does the 5x10 pinpoint.

I still use the 5". It still works the trashy areas better than the 5x10 due to its smaller size. Also good for tight areas. I like both coils. Since you have the 11" you may not need the 5x10. If you detect areas with stubble or lots of short branches, the design of the 5x10 helps since there aren't any gaps in the coil. If you want to get into tighter spots between poles in a tot lot or under bleachers then the 5x10 helps. If you only search ballfields or large open parks or the beach then you probably don't need the 5x10. All three coils are good so pick the ones that best fit your style of detecting.
