Just won T2 on Ebay

Hi everyone,Im new to this forum. Ive read alot of post on this forum and decided to purchase a T2. I was high bidder on Ebay and very excited. I will be needing a coil cover for my T2, any of you dealers on this forum who accept Pay Pal feel free to contact me. I hate to use a detector without a coil cover. I presently own a Vaquero that Ive only used twice. I miss a TID and cant wait to try this one. Tony

try jeff at middlesex (top advert bar at the top of this forum page) he has coil covers and takes paypal ,top man to deal with

Bryanaw you will be thrilled once you get out and start using the T2. It takes a Little getting used to compared to other detectors, but once you get used to it you will not want to use anything else.
There are some features that could be improved but all in all it a great detector. You can hunt all day with out getting tired. you detect real small targets and the nice feature is the recovery is so fast that you can hunt a trashy area a dig good items next to trash. I hunt civil war camps and the best find was a 44 caliber Tranter bullet, which I found out was kind of rare, didn't give me a good signal. It was a scratchy nonrepeatable signal but I felt like something was there, so I pinpointed it and got a good pinpoint and down about 7 to 10 inches out pop the bullet. The lesson is if there is a signal that you are not sure about, pinpoint it and if you get a good pinpoint dig it. I'm going back the all the hunted out sites and rehunt them out again. Good luck and happy hunting.

Thanks for all the replys. Contacted a dealer who told me theirs two different coil covers , and old version and a new version, that may be why some of you have had problems putting them on, so Ill wait till I get my T2 and send him the serial no. I was so excited about winning the T2 last night I didn't introduce myself. My name is Tony ,I live in southern Indiana in a small town called Tell City with my wife {boss] and daughter. Ive been metal detecting on and off for 30 years.I mainly hunt coins the older the better. I'm retired now but still young enough I cant wait to go metal detecting, still get excited about it. Well I flapped my jaws long enough, you have a great forum with alot of information. Tony

got 2 from jeff a while ago - both fine for fitting - service from jeff excellent as usual. Not been on for a while due to change in personal circumstances but the t2 is now my main machine - love it !!!
