Trying to decide which one to watch.. I have quite a few and it got me thinking.

What is my favourite..?? And it occurred to me, I really do not have ONE favourite..

"the polar Express, A Christmas story, Miracle on 34th, It's a wonderful life, The muppets Christmas, A Christmas Carol, Love actually, Elf, The Santa Claus.... etc, etc etc"

So, now.. what would be your favourite , lets say 3, Christmas movies.

Its a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story...and, ummm, hmmm....The Grinch...

I've never really thought about this before, but after a few minutes of pondering I've concluded that I apparently don't enjoy Christmas movies. I can't think of a single one that I would rent, much less purchase. But if I am bored, and nothing else is on, I have been known to watch "A Christmas Story" every now and then. But beyond the leg lamp and the BB gun, I don't remember much about that movie either. Now if John Wayne had been in a Christmas movie, I'll bet I would have liked that one. :D

I feel the same way. I just have not had much interest in them. I watch some because I am ordered to but never on my own:blink:

There's a John Wayne movie from the '40's called "The Three godfathers" that could be considered a Christmas movie.

It was on Turner Classic Movies Yesterday late afternoon and I enjoyed it.

He was a bank robber in this one, a departure from most of his other movies.

Merry Christmas one and all,

CJ

1. Christmas Carol (Allister Simms) - a family tradition
2. The Santa Clause
3. Charlie Brown Christmas or The Grinch (Jim Carey)

Like you, we have an extensive collection. Try to watch one every evening as time allows.

Merry Christmas, Mike and Alice.

Love,
Bill & Carol
