Just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone on this subforum for their knowledge and shared experience that helps so many starting in this hobby.
Without this type of brotherhood some would leave the hobby.
I started out with an ace350 and if it wasnt for this forum I would have most likely stopped swinging because of the poor function and results I got from that detector.
My 8" compadre was my first real detector purchase to me, and it opened up my eyes to this hobby.
As you can see below I went off the deep end and am fairly sure I'm good on detectors for a while (but never really done looking lol)
I love each of my beep and dig units for their own qualities. Also can do some things well but none can do all things well.
Right tool for the job I guess.
But I digress and again want to say thanks to all who have helped me during my plunge down this rabbit hole.
Even if I didn't post on a certain thread doesn't mean I didn't take away knowledge from it. From all your posts and experiences I was able to build what I consider a very impressive battery of detectors that do what I need to do perfectly.
Happy holidays all and if you're lucky enough to be somewhere with drier, warmer weather.... Happy Hunting!!!
