Hey,
I can't remember the last time I went detecting but I'm still lurking around here and praying for the requests. I've been staying busy at the new job and so far it's going pretty good. Plus, the carpet cleaning jobs keep coming in so have been working 6-7 day weeks. I'm not complaining though because I really need the work. God is providing!!
I took Sarah driving this evening and am pleased to announce that we both survived it! I may have to replace the floorboard on the passengers side though!! For some reason it has 2 size 11 indentions in it. My heart rate has now dropped to around 150. It should be back to normal by morning. It is amazing how narrow the road looks and how fast 30mph seems when you are teaching someone how to drive.
We take Brian to Vanderbilt Sept 18th for our initial consultation with the new plastic surgeon. His tumors are really growing in his mouth and we'll have to schedule surgery soon. (You're off the hook Joe, you don't have to buy a case...yet! )
Brian is beginning to walk now, only a little ways, but it's a start. He is afraid of fracturing a bone but wants his mobility back as well. I had forgotten how tall he is!!
Betty wrote a poem for Brian that is absolutely wonderful. Betty...would you please post it here for all to read?
Now that the weather is cooling off a bit, the low 90's, and since we've had some rain to soften the ground, the digging bug has hit me again. Hopefully I'll get out soon, if I can find my digging tools (They were last used by Carol to plant flowers).
That's enough rambling for now. I hope you all have a great week!
