Been very busy the last 2 weeks with my daughter Heidi here last week and getting stuff done this week. Shopping took longer with all the snow around but added to the fun of it also. I prefer snow for Christmas on the ground. Going to my son George's house for Christmas eve. This was, is a hard year for them and all of us for that matter, dealing with how the year went with my grand daughter Agatha, but we will make it. That poem posted the other day helped us get thru it also. My son Andy is here now along with my daughter Janeen and Victoria. Spent this morning taking flowers to the cemetery for my folks and relatives etc. I'm the last one of that age to still be here and able to do it. Had to use my trusty detecting trowel to chop thru 4 inches of ice to place the flower pots so they would not blow away. big rain/ wind storm on the way for tonight, so wanted them anchored securely. With all the snow and ice on the ground, the deer have been in close to the house trimming up the hemlocks for us. Not a lot of feed around right now they can get at. This rain will help them a lot in removing a lot of the snow.

You all have a great Christmas, hope you get to spend it with the ones you love.
