JUST TRIED THE 8" CONCENTRIC ON THE OUTLAW

the 8" is a deep coil , in Discriminate and with minimum gain i can get the 4.5" dime and in aire test with more gaine 7.5" and in threshold all metal its deep a good 8" on that dime , Inconclusive on the minerals test as i would need more ground to do it , but its really a good coil .

Gunnar, I found both the 8" concentric and the 12 x 10 dd coils to be plenty deep enough for hunting in parks etc, and I found with those two coils that the Outlaw will pick up small silver at 6"+, in ground that I would call "good ground", and with the sensitivity set on about 7. I know that the 12x10 will go deeper than 6", and so will the 8" round, but the targets would probably need to be bigger than the thin wire ring I found at 6". All the best with the Outlaw, I'm sure it will grow on you the more you use it. My experience is that it hits hard on coins and rings (like most Tesoros I've used). HH

I've found the 8" to be a good coil on all my Tesoros. It delivers as well or better than the 8X9 on my DeLeon and Eldorado.

I had to go out of town.When i got home, i noticed two of my coils missing from my closet.The new white doughnut for my outlaw missing and the stock 9x8 that came with my new tejon.All i can think is my landlord.He does not know much about metal detectors.He has a older model garret.All i can think of is he saw those two coils and he grabbed those two coils thinking that they would work on his garret.I was pissed!.Do you think i should try to get the white doughnut ,or just buy the brown doughnut.What i am trying to say is do you think there is a difference between the white doughnut and the old brown ones?.Because no one carries the white ones on the net.The only time i can connect to the net is in the early morning when i have a good signal on my phone.This sucks!.Well i hope that the white and brown doughnuts are the same.

I'm thinking the only difference is the color, but can't say for certain. I think I'd find a different landlord if you're really sure he ripped you off.

I like my landlord.I did find out he was in my apartment when i was gone.He got a old garret because he comes over and checks my old colonial relics and colonial coins out.He keeps looking suspicious and stuff.I had the local news here one day filming some colonial finds from the area also.So i am hot right now.But the old fart probably saw my collection of Tesoro search coils and thought that they would fit his nasty garret.That's ok,i will keep an eye on him.I got real cheap rent from the old fart,so i will have to put up with him. B-)
