Just took delivery of my new detector, a Tejon

Hi All

I am new to the Tesoro site and range of detectors and have been looking around for a couple of weeks and picking up some good tips and advice, many thanks.
I own a T2 and I have now also purchased a Tejon.

I have been out a couple of times and my first impression is how quiet the machine runs. Under power cables and even pointing the machine up to the lines and "nothing".
Knock the coil with my foot and again "nothing".

This is exactly what I wanted. Personally I prefer to detect quietly and just be notified when I pass over an object, that's just my way and I do like it and cant be doing with all that buzzing and chatter from other well known detectors.

I also purchased a 5 x 10 elliptical wide scan coil and this appears to work very well against the standard spider.

So, here's to a good machine with good first impressions and I hope to have some good finds in the north UK

Cheers

Paul
