[attachment 19825 sdmisc06b.gif]well i took my explorer too the beach today. i got a few good signals but when i went too dig there was ice under the sand.so i gave up till the weather warms up a bit:).i really think im goin have fun with this machine.its goin take awhile too get use too it tho. but im goin love it .
 
Been really cold. The few times I've hit the beach, it's been sanded in big time. No targets, not even junk. We need a good Nor'easter and some warm weather :) You're gonna LOVE the Exp at the beach. Be prepared to dig some deep holes though :lol:
 
Nope... the ice won't mess up the readings. Many people hunt sledding hills / ski slopes during the winter to find stuff in the snow.
