Hello again
Just ask the expert their habits just starting and turning their explorer how they set the sensivity, if they make noise cancel before hunting.....if they go directly with manual or automatic sensivity... I think will help us a lot.
Thanks in advance

Depends if the last place I have hunted was smooth and I go somewhere else and turn it on if its smooth I will leave it alone.
I hunt with a Partner alot that also uses the XS so if we are close yes One of us will hit Noise Cancel.
I seem to think that Manual seems clearer and will actually be more distintive if compared to Auto.
But there are times when the best Manual I can run is 15 but can manage 28 Auto so i will choose Auto.
It is all dependent upon what the soil mineralization etc is at when at a given location.
After you hunt alot with the XS you will soon know what is best for a given location.
Best of Luck to you <IMG SRC="/forums/images/biggrin.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":D">
