Well I have wanted one for years and finally got the Discovery 2200

Started in the back yard and found a toy truck from the late 50's or early 60's 5 inches down registered as a dime

Then went to a field I hunt deer and Turkey's at and found two dimes 1998 and 2000 not too old but hey at least I can find stuff

if anyone can advise the best set up for hunting coins please let me know what you use for settings ie: what to notch out and sensitivity

Thanks
Dereck

Read your manual over and over and have a lot of patience. Your machine will do great on coins. Good luck, have fun

Went to a park in New Hamburg looks like it has been dug before but after two hours came away with
1990 penny
1985 penny
1947 penny
1989 dime
1988 Qtr

piece of a key chain I think

all were 3 to 5 inches down

also dug some trash 5 cans 3 bottle caps

had a couple of signals I could not find still in hole but dug past the 7 inch depth reading and a couple that just disappeared after digging
