Just scored a new Vaquero

An awesome machine...my first real detector and we had several years of great adventures together and found a ton of treasure.
I learned the Tesoro language using my high tone model, it was a great teacher.
I went through the whole range of phases, normal settings and high disc, then lowered that disc down over time and started finding gold.
I went through my super tuning phase too, but eventually just settled back to just normal settings because I liked the modulation on deeper targets...and man, under the right conditions it could go shockingly deep.
I had a big DD coil and it paid for itself quickly but my favorite coils were my concentrics... especially the little round sniper.
We found my best civil war relics, my first gold together and a lot more after, my first wheatie, first silver coin, my oldest coin ever, (1865 2 cent), and more silver jewelry than I can remember, chains, rings, medallions, earrings and more.
Plus many hundreds of dollars in clad.

Where I live now the soil is mineralized and filled with crazy amounts of extra iron and as fun as it was this was not the most optimum tool to use in this environment so I traded it to a hunter/dealer in Missouri that wanted a high tone model for a new coil and a new Mojave so it lives on and I am sure finding great things in that fantastic dirt.

Some of my best memories in this hobby were created when I was standing behind my sweet Vaq.
I will never forget it.
