Just saw on Prospecting America

A guy bought a metal detector 6 days earlier - a Minelab (2200? I think) - and took it to a place near Stanton, Arizona and found (nugget and quartz combined) a chuck of gold bigger than my fist. Think they said it was something like 25 ounces - someone said something about this or another one he found weighed 250 grams.
6 days and a very nice find indeed. His wife said "Dig everything! This gave the same indication a horseshoe would give"
OK Steve hit the maps - how close are ya to Stanton, AZ? (wink)
The finder gave it to Terry Hassie (Prospecting America head honcho) for his collection. I bet Terry made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
