Hello all,
Can anyone here direct me to where I can view a user manual for the MXT? I just purchased a 'used' machine with 19 months warranty left on it from Kellyco and it arrived with no manual or video.
P.S.
I don't recommend buying from Kellyco. The package deal was suppose to include a set of gold series head phones that didn't show up with the detector AND, no battery charger OR re-chargable batteries that were suppose to be inc. AND, no user manual OR instr. video AND, no warranty card either.
I did send them an email that I'm awaiting reply to so, I guess I'll see how it goes and what they have to say now (after telling them I won't be back again OR recommend anyone buy from them)!
Please help in MI

You can download any Whites Manual from this site. Good luck with the MXT. It is an awesome detector.

Thanks Rich,
I'm hoping so!

They were part of the package deal for $599.00 (being that the detecor is used). I believe it was a trade for a different model or the like and it was suppose to come with the rechargeable batteries and charger (as per stated on their web-site). Also, a pair of Gold series head phones (that didn't arrive with the detector). I got the standard search coil AND the DD 1400 (as they stated came with it-- but not the other items).

Now that you know where the manuals can be downloaded from, make sure you also download the engineer's report. Good info on the MXT is hidden in there.

I can't seem to find where you download the engineers report Rudy, can you elaborate more?
Thanks,
Treasdiver

The engineer's report is at:

There is aslo a diary reprot at:

Both are good reads and augment the manual. HH.

I'm in Greenville, it's approx. 1.5 hrs north and east of me to midland. I used to live/work there about 10 yrs ago (lived on Bay city rd) almost where it meets with Saginaw rd. Did a LOT of detecting around that area back then. Do you know where the back/east side of Dow is where the "old" entrance/plant is? There used to be some empty lots where they tore down old homes that I detected and found some good stuff! I can't remember the name of the road but, it's where there's "one ways" and the homes sat in the middle between the east/west bound lanes. There's a lot of big trees on some of the property, I'm sure they're still there and that there's still some good finds to be had!
I'm looking for a partner to do some hunting with when the weather warms up. I'm originally from the east side of MI (Saginaw area) and since moving over here approx. 6 yrs ago, I haven't had anyone to hunt with. I'm into hunting lakes with my water machine and I like to do old farms and or places with old foundations crumbling down out in the middle of no-where! I'm not a "coin shooter" type though, because, I've found most old coins in any quantity have long since been found by the "old timers" of the hobby. My theroy is, when looking for relics, jewelry, etc. you'll find your share of coins anyway, so, why bother looking solely for them!? I find that jewelry and relic hunting is a lot more fun, it pays off in bigger profits (example) 1 gold ring can equal up to or exceed the price you pay for a detector (as where as) 1 silver mercury dime or the like, is worth about .50 cents and, I've now added a 2 box depth multiplier to my collection for cache hunting in the spring. I'd like to find someone interested in meeting now and then for a days hunting in "out of the way places" where it's possible to find a "cache" of old coins burried by an old farmer/etc. and or, some old relics of the past. I have a Fisher CZ20 for water hunting, a Garrett GTI 2500 (with the 2 box depth multiplier) for general purpose hunting and cache hunting and, I just bought the Whites MXT to try out!
If you're interested in getting together for some hunting, let me know and we'll find a few places maybe 1/2 way between us (45 min drive time for each of us) and see what we can find! If not, maybe we can just talk via the forum and post our finds/etc. there.
Let me know,
Treasdiver (AKA) Wayne.

You can contact WHITES in Sweet Home Or. Their printing plant is in the basement of the show room--I am sure they still send them out for FREE--I got a couple sent to me last year-----------deathwind1

Gotta set the record stright here. JW at kellyco called me and he has taken care of the problems/concerns here. Their customer service is great and I'll be buying from them again in the future!
