Hi guys...
Also got the 4 x 6 DD coil with it. I saw what it would do at the North South Hunt. It killed my Cibola in a couple locations. I will be checking in here regularly as I learn the MXT. Thanks in adavance for all the information here and for any help in the future.

I find that little mini shooter 4X6 coil is also a very hot coil in trashy areas as you too will find out, just like my Minelab buddies did.
Good Luck with your MXT as you will see in some areas it will excell over many of the other detectors.

Hello Mayor,
looks like you are finding all detectors i like.
My number one detector with display is the MXT.
My number one without display is the Vaquero.
And the best value vs performance detector is the Garrett Ace 250.
You bought the right coil for trashy areas with the MXT.The depth and target separation of the 4x6 coil is hard to beat.
Feel free to email me if you have questions about the MXT.
HH,
Andy

what areas of the hunt site did the MXT beat the Cibola? Most areas the 4x6 would of been way too small to get the ground coverage needed.
