I've been sitting on the sidelines for several months, absorbing everything that has been posted, and learning as much as possible, and finally I was able to order a new E-Trac. It arrived today, and BOY!, am I excited. This is my first Minelab detector and I am impressed with the look and feel of it.
I"ve only been able to put it together and experiment with it indoors this evening because of a big thunderstorm with some hail that hit the region before I got home to open the packages -- and its still raining after about 4 hours. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll be able to get out with it, and start the process of learning the machine.
I'll bet many of you seldom think about others that quietly visit this forum often to read what is being said. I just want you to know this is one of the most "professional" forums I've encountered. Those who participate in the forum as well as those who adminster it in various ways have created a really enjoyable environment where one can always learn something valuable from other's experience. What I've learned here and from Andy's book has put me ahead of the curve! Thanks to you all.
