Just received my 8 year old brand new coil ? :clapping:

This is the coil i won on a auction only 19 bids payed 112.00 free shipping Minelab 8" Coin Search coil for my Sov.GT WOW this coil was never used ever !! it looks like the day it was made still in box not a mark on it the coil wire is prefect i did a few air test and the coil works just like it is supposed to , right now it is 20* snow on the ground and a wind chill of 7* no way am i going to swing this outside now , i can not believe how lite this coil is i took a few pics you can see i have just a few things all lite on my carbon shafts i could swing this all day the wire is prefect for me to chest mount my unit !! i just hope this coil lives up to its reputation about how deep it goes . I cant wait to get out and try it even a short hunt soon HH all and keep warm !! Jim
 
JIM, YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED. IT'S A KEEPER. YOU MENTIONED CARBON FIBER. WHAT DO YOU USE AND WHERE DID IT COME FROM? ONCE IT PUT MINE ON, THE TORNADO 10 WASN'T USED UNTIL MY COINSEARCH STARTED ACTING UP. I'M GOING TO CHECK MINE OUT AND SEE IF I CAN FIX IT. HH-MARK
 
JIM, THE COINSEARCH DOES TRY TO FLOAT IN WATER. HH-MARK I HEARD THAT THEY ARE NOT WATERPROOF, SO I JUST SEALED THE FITTING WITH SILICONE. HH-MARK

Mark i use Dragon Plate just measure the upper and lower shafts the the rolls come in all differant lengths make sure you measure the ID and OD of each shaft , that D.P. is lite as a feather but super tough !! GL Jim
