Just received my 2nd Tesoro Mojave

JEF

troll
I saw here on the Finds Forum that Backwoods Metal Detectors had two for sale and so I bought one of them. The first Mojave I bought is my traveling and spur of the moment detector. I have it taken down in a backpack in the trunk of my car just in case I happen to be somewhere and decide I want to metal detect on the spur of the moment. I took the coil off of the Mojave that I just bought and put it on My Bandido II micromax. When the 7" coils become available, I will buy another one for the second Mojave. I haven't had a chance yet to try out the 7" coil on the Bandido yet. It has been too rainy here the last few days, but I am looking forward to trying it on the Bandido.

I got a great deal on a 2nd unit online. Guy bought it, ran it through test bed then decided he wanted a TID VDI unit so I got it cheap with full warranty.
For now it's sitting in the closet but I can't wait to compare that coil to my "new" rebuilt Troy super 7.
Might grab a spare too when available. They are some nice coils!!

I can't wait to try the new 7" coil on my Bandido II micromax. Just waiting for a nice day when it isn't raining here.

Yeah it looks like the weather here in Michigan is hopefully gonna change. Today hit 50 where I was but I had a long shift today. Lows only going into the 40s for the next 10 days according to WeatherBug on my phone. Hopefully it's nice by the weekend. Been working more lately so can't complain but on an off shift, so harder to hunt this year.

Well, after I took the 7" coil off of the 2nd Mojave, and put it on my Bandido II micromax, I sold the Mojave without a coil on it for $140.00. I still have my other Mojave, which is going to be my travelling detector. I have it in the trunk of my car. I have it broken down in three pieces, in a backpack, in case I am somewhere and want to do some metal detecting on the spur of the moment. I also have a pinpointer, digger, and pouch in the trunk, just in case.
