Just Purchased Quattro

New member
I just purchased a used Quattro.

It cames UPS this afternoon.

Going on vacation to Gulf Shores, AL. for spring break.

I hope to learn how to use it this week.

I've never hunted on a beach before.

Get a copy of the book Mastering the Quattro by Andy Sabisch and then just get hours using the Quattro under your belt. Then one day it will all come together and you will feel as one with your quattro, and even dream about it when you hit the sheets.

You're gonna love it, just don't get the main housing wet. The coil and shaft are ok to dunk, but be careful not to throw the thing over your shoulder and let the water run down the shaft into the housing. Drain it out before you do that. This bad boy goes deep, quiet in the salt water and very accurate. You probably are right to dig almost everything because gold comes in at different numbers. When you get the time, get Andy Sabisch's book Mastering the Quatro. It truly is a "must read" in my opinion, even if your already familiar with detectors. Great info in that book, and some info on cross saving audio that isn't even in the owners manual. Please let us know what you find down there. Id be very interestd.:O:|:geek::hot:
