Hello all,

I purchased an MXT 300 and I want to take advantage of the special where you get a carrybag, pinpointer and a coil of your choice. The MXT 300 comes with the Super 12 inch spider coil. Should I opt for the Eclipse Shooter DD 4"x6" Coil or would the D2 10" DD Coil be a better choice?

I mainly detect for coins either clad or older depending on where I can get permission. But I am also open to relic hunting or even prospecting if the chance ever presented itself.

The 4X6 DD first and foremost !! This little coil will find a lot of goodies in hard to get places and also area's heavy with trash. I Have a MXT with a Super 12 (same as the 300) and the 4X6..These two will get you a good start on detecting. As time goes on,,,, watch what coils are bringing in and what type of soil and surroundings they were buried in (Beach, high mineral soil, etc etc)...Good Luck and Happy Hunting !

10 x 6 dd  great coil
congratulations you have got the best

I do not believe the 10x6 coil is a part of this special. I will probably get the Eclipse Shooter DD 4"x6" Coil. Can't wait to try it out in a couple of days.

Another vote for the 4X6. I love mine and it handles the conditions where the large coil is a liablity.
