I ended up taking it out on the beach right there at Lewes Delaware for a run. About 20 minutes and it was kind of cool and my son was getting cold..was his idea in the first place. Found this in the dry sand plus one deep screw cap and newer type pull tab. The soldiers were found burried with the truck.

Then yesterday I took it out to OC MD for about three hours. Surprisingly hardly any trash items were found...one screw cap a key and newer type pull tab. $2.93 cents in change and one of the cents was a 1941 wheaty!

Came back the next day..Sunday and found this after about 2 hours approx $2.40.

I have a question for the experts on this forum...I assume that most of the booty is found in the surf itself. I did not have luck there these last two days, but I did find a line parallel to the surf where coins were showing up. My question is, will rings and such tend to be found in this smae line where the coins are showing up?
