Just purchased a Bandito II Umax (How good of a detector is it?)

I have a Cibola and really like it, but wanted to add another unit for backup. Got a good deal in a Bandito II with the stock coil and an extra 7" coil. Can anyone who has used this detector tell me their impressions. How good is it and what kind of depth can I expect. Thinking of using it primarily for old home sites and relic hunting in bad ground. Any information would be appreciated.

I've been running the Bandido ll uMax since last year. It's been doing great for the trashy sites I hunt on. The learning curve on my "newest" Bandido, the uMax version has'nt been a problem, since I already had an "original Bandido". The Bandido ll uMax found me a 1906 Barber dime earlier in the year. You can see the picture of the barber dime in my story " Old homestead finds in the Land of Oz" (cont) several posts down in this forum. If you have any questions about this detector,I or any of the Tesoro forum poster's will be happy to offer advice. HH............Hombre

I don't blame you I have 2- Bandito and bandito 2 and believe it or not there is a difference between the two. Sometimes you can't beat the light weight of the umax though.
