Switch to autotune (all metal)......sens max.....volume max.....pump coil......adjust GB for even sound......volume back to where you like......sens back to 5 ish....switch mode to disc you want or stay in autotune.
Or a power balance.....same as above except put it in disc #1...pump coil till it starts to chirp....then back it down a whiskey. This method makes the unit a tad more sensitive, but will also make it false on the minerals more than the normal GB method. Test it, you may find this method adds some depth.
