Just picked up a clean used CTX 3030

I got lucky over the weekend and bought an extra clean used CTX 3030, came with stock coil, wireless headphones, AA battery pack and rechargeable battery, I had to track down a charging cable

I put AA batteries in and fired it up, right at the dining room table. I could max out the Sensitivity, with no problem, and using the 11" coil, it was giving solid ID's at 12 inches.

It's been about 7 years since I owned a 3030, I forgot how stable and accurate they are on deep coins.

Now I need some warmer days so I can take it for a test run

Congrats! I've been on my best silver streak ever this year. (49 years) I have to give props to the CTX3030. I've found all on my silver on public land. No private sites. I bought mine in 2018. I cringed a little, but it had been worth it.

Things are definitely getting better, I just ordered a 6" coil for my CTX 3030, so now I have all 3 coils.

One thing that I love about this 3030, is that I can max out the Sensitivity inside my house and it runs strong and stable, plus it gives good ID's up to 12" in air test

I also just bought a new X-TERRA Elite Expedition pack, and I think this will be a great combo. I am ready for 2025
