can't wait to try it. It's used and got @ a great price. Used very little. I will post any finds i get using the sef coil as long as its no clad coins.Lol. HH GS.

I'm sure you will like it. It may not do RX15, but for this coil you don't need to.

Thanks Rob , i am sure i will like it. I never use RX 15 on any of my hunts anyways. I am sure i won't need it . If it is as good as my 8x6 sef on my E-Trac then i am going to love it.

Let us know how you do with the coil.

Congrats on getting the 8x6! My 8x6 still passes RX15 after 6 months, and takes RX11 with boost on. I don't run at 15 with it. Depending on DS sensitivity setting, I run mine from 6-8 gain, DS80 in general, but I will crank down the gain at times to 4-6 and increase DS to 91 to 95. I believe that you will find that you have lots of latitude with the 8x6, and depth and separation will impress you.

This coil has found me more silvers than any other coil. To be fair, I did have some sick coils along the way. Thems all been replaced and are stellar shape so I expect a good hunting year once the heat goes down and we get some danged rain.

Don't be afraid to spin the dial down and the DS up on this thing. martin

When they make a v-nulled 8x6 like they have with the larger SEF coils I may have to jump on it. My buddy has one of the older black coils and while he can run it plenty hot, it ID's middle conducting signals much different than the normal coils do.
