Just over a month into the Compadre now

I'm getting much better at using this simple little machine. The suggestions from the other users here have been very helpful in learning the best way to use my Compadre. Called Kellyco earlier today and have a set of headphones on the way too. I also picked up one of the little rain covers suggested by someone here, its' nicely made and works like a charm. This has been fun, taking the time to find out about Tesoro over some of the larger more advertised brands was well spent. Now I just have to locate that treasure box of gold hidden someplace on my property I wish, but at least there have been plenty of coins and other items to keep this all very interesting.

the headphones will help you hear what the Compadre i saying ...yes it speeks .. the deep clean tones can be heard with the headphones .. if you put a test garden in put some trash it as well iron pulltab and it will help ...ps keep your vids comeing very well done

I'm not sure whether to credit the light weight or the simplicity, but over all Tesoros have a fun factor I haven't found in other detectors I've used.
