Just out of curiosity can some of you respond here with your silver/Indian head totals?

For me this year, it was:

76 silver coins (including 12 Barbers and 2 Seated coins)
166 wheaties
16 Indian Heads
5 Buffs
14 "V" nickels

(The ONLY bad part about these totals are, I hit my 75th silver coin on August 23...and got ONE after that! :) I'm on a bit of a drought... :rolleyes: :blink: :surrender: )

Hi, had an awesome yr. cause I was laid off. Ended the yr. with 461 silvers. My 400th silver was a walking Liberty half dollar and my 461st. and last silver this yr. was also a walking liberty half dollar. I ended the yr with 96 Indian head cents and over 2,500 wheats. I hope this does not sound like I'm bragging because everyone who knows me not my style. Anyways...Had I not been laid off these totals would not be what they are. I tried to make the most of my free time and metal detecting is my passion. Have a great new yr. Oh and by the way I'm in Ohio.

This turned out to be a trip down memory lane. Some day need to put all my detecting info in spread sheet form and have all the stats accessible. Anybody done this and have program set up?

2002-2010

Silver 841
IH 547
Wheat 4034

So roughly 1.6 Silvers per IH, varied from 1.1 to 2.2 on a year to year basis.
4.7 Wheats per Silver varied from 3.4 to 5.9
7.4 Wheats per IH varied from 5.8 to 12.4

Dave -- GREAT JOB! Looks like we ended up very similar, for the year...

Chris...while I'm embarrased to admit it, YES, I did set up all my finds in an excel spreadsheet, and kept hunt-by-hunt records...wanted to try it for a year, and see if it was useful. Not sure if it was, or not, but the data is there to be pondered over...

Didn't get a video of my last great discovery, but it was a good one ! Pulled 9 silvers from this tiny yard ... six in one hole ! Got some photos anyways ..
 
44 Silvers and 83 Indians for the year. 785 Silvers and 841 Indians so far for hunting career. Most of this found over the last 8 years since I got my Minelab XS!

Snow and cold here in Mass- looks like we'll need a minor miracle to get out again before spring.

48 silver coins and 22 indian head cents for me.
I had a lot of fun finding them also. Was hoping for 50 but work has gotten in the way.

106 silver for me. Not sure on indian heads because they are all in a jar.
