Just ordered the at pro from bart at big boys hobbies. He put together a sweet deal and was super nice and easy to work with.I hope this will be a nice upgrade from the ace350 which I've had a blast using. Hopefully I get some warm days to break out the new toy when it comes. I can't wait, Cheers:cheers:

OK, I upgraded from the ACE 350 too. Standard mode is very similar, but not as good as Pro mode. Beware! Nickles are a high tone on the 350, a mid tone on the ATP.
Mark the connectors. Put a mark on the male end and the female end before you tighten the ring on. Make sure you tighten the ring well. It will come loose, so check it often. It will cause problems when your coil cable comes loose and you bump the cable. The marks will help you match up the ends while changing coils.
Use a coil cover, but clean it before or after each use.
You'll get much more chatter on full sensitivity. Bring it down a couple bars, except in areas with little or no trash with DEEP small targets. I keep mine down two bars unless I hit a faint target that doesn't give a vdi.

Let us know how you do. Try going back over the places you hit with the 350. I re-hunted one I found several dollars with the 350 and found another dollar or two.

Thank you for the advice. I will definitely keep you updated as that was one of the tests I planned on doing was hunting a already hunted area that I used the 350 on.

Hey Adam
Did you get both coils and detector for under 600?
I wouldn't mind getting that deal!
Do you mind sharing?

I will definitely keep everyone in the loop on how this new machine works out for me. I hope to share some of the new finds asap.

Don't want to hear about NO ROUNDNESS in your hole!!!!! but you should have fun finding more goods with the PRO :clapping:

also any newbie tips would gladly be accepted

I had to moderately wind my coil wire around the shaft of my two detectors. I left enough play at the coil to pivot it up and down. Then I zip tied the cord to the shaft. This greatly reduces false signals from the coil wire slapping the shaft. Basically I was getting a beep from a machine when there was nothing under the coil. Tall grass hitting the coil wire or simply swinging and having the wire loosely bumping the shaft would give me endless non existent signal beeps. This may help you if you are getting a lot of erratic signals and nothing under the coil.
