this is what i had in my heart since i first read about them. it possibly could not be the best choice, but what the heck, it is what i wanted. if the GOLD doesn't do what i expect on coins and small jewelry,, maybe old santa will bring me a GTI 1500 for christmas, if i'm a good little boy. it was a toss-up between these two to me, but the weather/water resistance is what won me over. like the rest of some of you guys, time will tell the true story. i spent the last 30 years in shooting competition, of one discipline or another, and i can change MT's a heck of a lot cheaper than i can AR'S or match pistols.

and,,, save a lot of hours [ and money ] at the reloading bench. i could easily sell my dillon 650 loader and several thousand bullets and primers and just buy a GTI 1500, if i take a mind to. shooting sports has gotten expensive in the last several years, due to the increase in lead and copper. i have 20--500 rd boxes of .45 --200gr SWC bullets i bought several years ago, reasonable, that i don't have the ambition to load and shoot.i reckon it's kinda like the old saying [ from the bible i believe ] , ''time and unforseen occurances catches all men''.

well,, please allow me to apoligize to you guys a BIG BOY HOBBIES, as i was not aware of yall. i definitely would have bought from a site sponsor, and i would like to take the opportunity to encourage anyone else to support the people that support us.

that will be the key, John E,, getting the most potential from the little fella. we used to have a saying in the shooting sports, '' beware the man with one gun, he knows how to use it''. i have all sorts of silver coins, clad coins, jewelry, small rings [ well, my bride has them ] and my plan is to make a test patch down by my creek. learn all the tones, and visual IDs before i get too far off into the field. practice makes perfection,, or gives you an edge.

[size=large]be sure to remove the gold jewerly from the bride before you bury them. or not.
you might not want to make your test patch down by the creek. what happens if it floods?
at least in shooting you don't run out of targets. there's always washington D.C. is that THE FEDS I HEAR KNOCKING?
