As much as I like my 1 GIG Micro-drive I get really freaky everytime I handle it. Like taking it from the camera and putting it in the computer.
You really have take great care with it.
 
On my camera I can download without removing the card although I don't have a microdrive. I didn't know they made a 1 GIG flash card.

Hooking up my camera to the computer just to DL seems like a pain to me........ Not being smart with you with that comment but for me it's just easier to pull the card out and but in the reader.....
 
at least I did before I got the new camera. As I said, it uses a CDR and it is a simple matter to just put it in the tray. I don't really understand why they would also make it possible to use the usb port as it is a hell of a lot slower. I have not seen a puter without a CD player.
