Yesterday, i taugh me and Luke would have a ball. First beach we stopped, i got the 10K wedding band. Well that would be the only gold we'd see all day!
And that is not for lack of trying. Oh boy we tryed ! We did 8 beaches (lakes). All appear to be either visited by a detectorist, or not visited too mutch by swimmers!
On each new beach we'd say this is the one... and left with a few more coins. Luke did got a strange ring stamped Canada inside, heavy but greyish... weird.
Well, sometimes other detectorist are wondering why we dont post on our own club forum, that is simple, to avoid days like yesterday. We are getting crowded ! Those beaches were 200Km up north. We decided to do them before it gets too cold up there. August of 2006 will not be in any hot record book. Last night, temperature drop to 10 degres celcius... sign of days to come
Oh well, i'M getting ready for an other hunt, alone this time, Luke's air-loose program has expired Better leave before the wife wake's up and cancel my plans as well.
My total for yesterday : 1 10K gold 4 grams, a little more than 13$ in clad, an old powder box and a junk toe ring, plis gizmos like toy plane and keys... not appearing as usual, tons of nails, botle caps and pull tabs...
