It is getting late but I just stepped out to my trumpet vine and there were a few bugs wandering around. The light sucked and the wind was blowing but I found this interesting.
This ant was interested in these little spots but I could not tell what the heck they are, aphids or what?? <img src="/metal/html/shocked.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":shock">
This was the best I could do under the circumstances. I had to lighten it up in photo shop and it degraded what was not the best shot anyway. Fun to mess with though
 
Nice subject, just a tough shot to get right. Whatever the dots are I'll bet that the ant comes back for more, hopefully under better conditions.
 
wait until my CD500 returns. I still have the 300 but it does not have a hot shoe, which the ring flash uses
